BASIS and CRRU (Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use) UK are now inviting suppliers of professional use rodenticides to register their depots for the new UK Rodenticide Stewardship Regime Point-of-Sale audit process.
For sellers who are already enrolled in the BASIS Stores Inspection scheme, you will still need to register your interest for this additional part of the audit process.
Registration must be completed immediately in order to be allowed to continue to sell professional use rodenticides (see CRRU UK Website for details). Registration and a successful audit will ensure your ongoing compliance with the stewardship regime and allow you to retain the supply of these products after December 2018. Please use the form provided on this page to register.
Essential guidance is available via the CRRU UK website which has downloadable information relating to the Point-of-Sale Audits and FAQ's for the audits and other areas of stewardship. We strongly recommend you visit this page to read more. https://www.thinkwildlife.org/code-of-best-practice/crru-code/

"CRRU UK welcomes the opportunity to co-ordinate this important UK-wide stewardship initiative. We have to get smarter in the way we use rodenticides – and show we are doing so. It is now up to suppliers and users of these essential products to demonstrate that they can be applied without unacceptable effects on UK wildlife and other non-targets."
